Richard Ross is chairman of the Rosetrees Trust, a charitable foundation, set up by his parents in 1987. Rosetrees uses a venture philanthropy approach to fund cutting edge medical research. In 2011 Richard was named Philanthropist of the Year at the Spear's Wealth Awards.
