Special Olympics

Special Olympics transforms lives through the power of sports.  Founded in 1968 by Eunice Kennedy Shriver, Special Olympics is the world’s largest sports organisation for people with intellectual disabilities. With more than 4.5 million athletes in over 170 countries, Special Olympics changes lives and changes attitudes from the individual scale to the global scale.
