A recent Open Door grant from the Nuffield Foundation to a team at the London School of Economics, led by Professor John Hills, is funding an integrated study looking at wealth and assets affecting the main body of the population and how these influence life chances.

The team plan a comprehensive analysis of key trends and how these affect policy areas normally considered in isolation.
