Everyclick has been voted ‘Website of the Year 2008’ in a competition run by online market research agency MetrixLab.

Everyclick won the overall award for ‘Website of the Year 2008’ as well as this year’s ‘Best Search and Find Site’ category. More than 1.5m votes were cast for 223 websites that were nominated in 18 categories. The ‘Website of the Year’ accolade was judged according to the criteria of website content, navigation and design.

Polly Gowers, founder of Everyclick, said, “We are delighted to have been voted Website of the Year 2008 … Throughout this difficult financial period, it is vital that the UK public continue their incredible support for charities.”

Everyclick also launched a Considerate Christmas campaign this year, to enable donors to give to up to 200,000 charities who are registered on their website.
