GIVING, the International Journal on Philanthropy and Social Innovation published twice yearly in English and Italian, is seeking submissions for publication in its March 2008 issue on Social Entrepreneurship.

The Journal is an interdisciplinary forum, focused on the production of research and studies on philanthropy as an engine of social innovation, addressing, among others, topics related to social equity, social justice, and social investment.

The aim of the issue is to analyze the emerging challenges of social entrepreneurship, from the point of view of the creation of networks and relations between SE and community building, community development and community philanthropy, rather than from the angle of biographies of social entrepreneurs.

Contributions developing historical perspective and SE in the international context are particularly welcome, and the deadline for submissions is 30th November.
