Join our CEO, John Pepin, as he chats with our member Debbie Pippard, Director of Programmes, Barrow Cadbury Trust; Lady Edwina Grosvenor, Philanthropist; and Sue Tibballs, CEO, Sheila McKechnie Foundation, about the role of campaigning in philanthropy.

Campaigning plays many different roles in our society and has been used as a tool by not for profits, philanthropists, and social investors to make major changes over the past years.

It is certainly a way that philanthropists and social investors can use to make societal change happen but plan an effective and impactful campaign could be difficult, and there are many challenges that trusts and foundations need to face through the process.

During this session, we will discuss with panel members their approaches to campaigning including harnessing public opinion, the methods they are using, and the risks to be managed by charities, philanthropists and social investors.
