Philanthropy Impact

After the success of Philanthropy Impact’s "Walk in My Shoes" episode on Legacy Giving in September 2023, we are excited to announce a Philanthropy Impact networking event early evening on 25 April hosted by our members at Maurice Turnor Gardner. The purpose of this event is to delve deeper into the topic of legacy giving as part of the life cycle of giving, with a focus on private client professional advisors, including those in wealth management, private banking, tax, and legal sectors.

During the event, we will discuss recent research on growing high-value legacy giving and how legacy giving conversations with clients can benefit advisors, their firms, their clients, beneficiaries, and charities. The discussion will include the advice given to high-value clients by private client professional advisors and how it fits into discussions as they explore the concept of "money for good" along the spectrum of capital. We will also explore the purpose of legacy giving, including the provision of long-term support to charities in a tax-efficient way to the benefit of both charities and donors.
