Philanthropy Advice and the Art of Adaptation

Report
June 2015
CAF

CAF has recently produced a report looking at the relationship between major donors and their advisors. This takes a range of advisory services into account: wealth, accounting, legal and philanthropy advice. Its finding suggest that there are huge differences between the individuals who actively seek advice on their giving and those who work independently. It finds that two thirds of the UK’s wealthiest individuals think professional advisers should offer more support for their charitable aspirations. The report also explores the challenges and virtues of wealth managers stretching their services to satisfy clients' appetite for philanthropy advice.

The report can be downloaded for free here and a webinar is also available to view online
