Carried out in partnership wtih the Charity Commission, The Charity Property Matters Survey is the only research of its kind specifically centred on the property needs and challenges facing the voluntary sector in England and Wales.

Despite the enduring effects of the economic downturn and austerity cuts, the sector is larger than agriculture in size, employing 800,000 people and with net assets of property, cash and investments totalling £105 billion.

The 2014 Property Matters survey has highlighted key issues that charities are facing in relation to commercial and public sector property.
