Once again Philanthropy Impact is teaming up with the Social Stock Exchange for an annual delve into all things impact. This event will discuss the role of the wealth advisor - understanding client investment aspirations, and the dearth of social investment and philanthropic opportunities being offered to family offices.

Given the growing interest in impact investing, is the advisory community asking clients the right questions? With £1.5 trillion of private wealth in the UK, how can we improve understanding, opportunity, and engagement to ensure potential investors fulfil their investment ambitions? At this event, the focus will be on family offices and their advisers. How can we increase their efforts in impact investing and what opportunities are there?

At this event, the expert panel will discuss
  • Understanding the investment journey to impact/philanthropy
  • Improving the breadth of relevant investment opportunities being offered
  • The advisor's role in moving their clients beyond philanthropy
  • Opportunities for family offices, wealth advisors, and their clients
Chair: Alexander Hoare, Partner, C. Hoare & Co.

Panel: Colin Melvin, Chairman, Social Stock Exchange and Global Head of Stewardship, Hermes Investment Management; Bonny Landers, Head of Sustainable Responsible and Impact Investing, Sandaire; Richard Brass, Head of Private Banking UK, Berenberg; Stephen Brenninkmeijer, Founder and Principal, Willows Investments UK & Board Member, Social Stock Exchange; and case study by Social Stock Exchange member Good Energy Group plc; Others TBA
