Catherine Beringer

Catherine Beringer is a director and co-founder of Auxilium Advisers, a company providing consultancy services to charities and philanthropists. She is a qualified solicitor, having trained at Clifford Chance and then specialised as a charity lawyer at Pothecary Witham Weld and Charles Russell Speechlys. She holds an MA in Law from the University of Cambridge, where she co-founded the Cambridge University Students’ Pro Bono Society. Prior to this she obtained a music degree from the University of Edinburgh and continues to perform locally as a soprano in Hampshire with her husband and two young children. She is also a trustee of a grant-making charity, the Christine Best Foundation, which supports musicians from deprived backgrounds.
